Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Bizz Companion, including the mobile app, web app, website, and related services.

Effective date: May 25, 2026

Short version: Bizz Companion helps you organize personal content and, if enabled, your own customer follow-up workflow. Use it responsibly, keep your account secure, contact customers lawfully, and remember that the app is not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Bizz Companion, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.

In these Terms, "Bizz Companion," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Thumbeja, the owner and operator of the service. "You" and "your" refer to the person using the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you are under the age required by law in your country to use online services, you may use Bizz Companion only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The app is not directed to children under 13.

3. About Bizz Companion

Bizz Companion is a digital companion planner that may include journaling, planner entries, gratitude tracking, notes, goals, affirmations, reflections, wellness prompts, vision-board images, and Business Companion tools such as contacts, deals, tasks, activity notes, reminders, and message starters. Features may vary by platform, version, region, account status, remote configuration, or device capability.

We may add, modify, suspend, remove, rename, redesign, or limit features at any time. We may also release updates that are required for security, compatibility, performance, compliance, or continued access to the service.

4. Accounts and sign-in

Some features require an account. You may be able to sign in using Google, Apple, email, or another supported provider. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials, device, and account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity is caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

You agree to provide accurate information where required and to update it if needed. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe an account is being misused, compromised, used unlawfully, or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Your content

"Your content" means text, images, notes, entries, plans, goals, reflections, prompts, uploads, customer records, deal and task information, and other material you create, save, submit, or upload through Bizz Companion.

You keep ownership of your content. By using the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, back up, and otherwise use your content solely to operate, maintain, secure, support, and improve Bizz Companion and related services.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to upload or store it. You should keep your own backup of important content. We are not responsible for loss of content caused by user error, device failure, unauthorized account access, third-party service issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

You agree not to use Bizz Companion to create, upload, store, transmit, or share content or activity that:

7. Personal reflection, wellness, and planning disclaimer

Bizz Companion may provide journaling prompts, gratitude prompts, affirmations, planning tools, wellness tips, motivational content, and reflective exercises. These features are for general personal organization and self-reflection only.

Bizz Companion does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, business, or other professional advice. The app is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, counselor, emergency service, lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, or other qualified professional. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

8. Business Companion and customer communication

If you use Business Companion, you are responsible for obtaining and using customer contact information lawfully, respecting applicable privacy and marketing rules, and contacting people only with any consent required in your jurisdiction.

The first release may prepare a message and open WhatsApp through its external click-to-chat flow. Bizz Companion does not send the message inside the app and does not verify that a message was sent, received, or delivered. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's terms and privacy practices.

CRM reminders are device-local notifications. A reminder created on one device is not guaranteed to appear on another device, even when signed into the same account.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share information. By using Bizz Companion, you acknowledge that we process information as described in that policy.

10. App stores and third-party services

Bizz Companion may be downloaded through Google Play, Apple App Store, or another distribution platform. Your use of app stores is also governed by their terms, policies, billing rules, refund rules, and technical requirements.

The app may rely on third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, analytics, crash reporting, storage, hosting, device integrity, and operating-system services. Third-party services may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue functionality. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

11. Subscriptions, purchases, and paid features

If Bizz Companion offers paid features, subscriptions, trials, or in-app purchases in the future, the price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation process, and refund rules will be shown at the point of purchase or through the applicable app store. App store purchases are handled by the app store provider, and refunds are subject to that provider's policies unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may offer free, trial, beta, promotional, or limited-access features. We may modify or end promotional access at any time unless a specific written offer says otherwise.

12. Intellectual property

Bizz Companion, including the app design, branding, logo, graphics, software, source code, text, prompts, layouts, icons, interfaces, and other materials provided by us, is owned by Thumbeja or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from our app or materials except where allowed by law or with our written permission.

13. Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, improvements, or other feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. We may use feedback to improve, modify, market, or develop Bizz Companion and related services.

14. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Bizz Companion available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network issues, cloud-service outages, security incidents, legal requirements, business decisions, or events outside our control.

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also impose limits on storage, uploads, file size, usage, features, account activity, or supported platforms.

15. Termination

You may stop using Bizz Companion at any time. You may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, infringed rights, misused the service, or used the service unlawfully.

After termination, some provisions will continue to apply, including sections about intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and any obligations that by their nature should survive.

16. Disclaimers

Bizz Companion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and security.

We do not guarantee that the app will meet your needs, achieve a particular outcome, preserve every piece of content, operate without interruption, or be free from errors, vulnerabilities, data loss, or harmful components.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Thumbeja and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, device functionality, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Bizz Companion will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the service in the three months before the claim or INR 1,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

18. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thumbeja and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of rights.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts located in Tamil Nadu, India will have jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@thumbeja.com and try to resolve the issue informally. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, app store listing, or another reasonable method. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
